Delete your Nature Wonders account

Deleting your Nature Wonders account is permanent and cannot be undone. It does not cancel a subscription: cancel Pro first in the App Store, Google Play or on softflourish.com/naturewonders/account, wherever you bought it.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open Nature Wonders on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android or Windows and go to Settings.
  2. Open Account and choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your data is deleted from our servers first, then your sign-in account. You are signed out and can keep using the app as a new guest.

If you cannot open the app

Email [email protected] from the address linked to the account, with subject Delete Nature Wonders account. We may ask you to verify control of that address; never send a password or an access token.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account (email, Google, Apple or Microsoft sign-in) in our Nature Wonders sign-in service.
  • Your synced journal, including the photo thumbnails and notes that Pro sync stored.
  • Your saved places and planned or recorded trips.
  • Place reports you sent, and your daily identification counters.

What is kept

  • Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Stripe. They keep these for tax, refund and fraud rules; we cannot delete them.
  • Anything stored only on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
  • Identification photos and sounds are never kept, so there is nothing to delete.

Delete on the web

Sign in at softflourish.com/naturewonders/account with the same email or Google account and choose Delete account and data. If you signed in with Apple or Microsoft, open Settings, then Account in the app instead, or email us.

Timing

In-app and web deletion happen straight away. Email requests are completed within 30 days, and we reply to confirm.

Guest mode

A guest has no email address. Deleting the app removes everything a guest created on the device. To clear a guest's data on our servers too (identification counters, and anything Pro sync stored), use Settings, then Account, then Delete account; on Windows the button reads Delete guest data from our service.
