Heath — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This policy explains how Heath: Net Worth & Budget handles information. Heath is published by Soft Flourish, an independent software studio and publishing house based in California, USA. It supplements the general Soft Flourish Privacy Policy and controls where the two differ for this app.

You can use Heath without an account, with manual accounts kept only on your device. Linking a bank needs an account and goes through Plaid, which connects to your bank on our behalf; Heath never receives your bank username or password and cannot move money. We do not sell personal data.

What the app holds, and why

WhatWhy
AccountEmail, Google or Apple sign-in on iPhone, iPad and Mac; email or Google on Android; email, Google or Microsoft on Windows. We keep your account ID and email so linked banks, Pro and sync follow you.
Linked bank data (optional)When you link a bank, Plaid sends us account names, types, the last four digits, balances, credit limits, interest rates, minimum payments and transactions. We store them in your account (Google Firebase, United States) so every device you sign in on can show them. The Plaid access token is encrypted on our server and never sent to your devices.
Manual accounts, homes, cars and assetsStored on your device. With Pro sync on, stored in your account so they appear on your other devices.
Subscription statusRevenueCat records whether you have Pro and which store it came from, keyed to your account ID. We never see your card details.
Ads data (free tier, iPhone, iPad and Android only)Google AdMob shows non-personalized ads and receives approximate location from your IP address, a device identifier, ad interactions and diagnostics. On Android, Google's consent form appears first where the law requires it; on iPhone and iPad no ad is requested in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. No ads on Mac, Windows or for Pro.
Usage and diagnosticsFirebase Analytics events about which screens and features are used. No financial values are sent to analytics.

What it never collects

  • Sale of your personal or financial data
  • Your bank username or password (you enter them on Plaid's page, not ours)
  • Moving money, paying bills or pulling your credit report
  • Cross-app tracking or personalized advertising (no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because nothing is tracked)
  • Your financial data used for advertising or shown to ad networks

Who processes what

Bank connections: Plaid Inc. (see plaid.com/legal for Plaid's End User Privacy Policy, which applies when you link a bank). Accounts, linked data, sync and analytics: Google Firebase and Google Cloud in the United States. Subscriptions: RevenueCat, with Apple, Google or Stripe handling payment. Ads: Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform.

Disconnecting a bank

Accounts -> Disconnect removes the bank at Plaid and deletes its accounts and transactions from our servers straight away.

Children

Heath is for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Retention

Linked data is kept while the bank stays connected. Disconnecting a bank deletes its data; deleting your account deletes everything we hold for you and disconnects every bank.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and describe the change here. Continuing to use Heath after a change means you accept it.
