Ask us anything: [email protected] — or use the contact form.
We answer within one business day (Mon–Fri, U.S. Pacific Time).
None of this is required, but it usually saves a round trip:
Please don't send us a file you were trying to clean. SystemZen works on your device and we never receive your files — we'd rather keep it that way. A screenshot with sensitive parts covered is usually enough.
That is usually correct, and it is deliberate. SystemZen only reports space it can actually reclaim in places you have granted it access to. It will never inflate a number to make a cleanup look more impressive — if a competing app claims many times more, it is generally counting things it cannot safely delete. Granting access to more folders will legitimately raise the figure.
Per-app data and battery totals need Usage Access on Android to be real measurements rather than estimates, and cleaning a folder needs access to that folder. SystemZen only ever sees what you grant, and declining leaves the rest of the app working.
The free tier of the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps is ad-supported; SystemZen Pro is ad-free. The Mac and Windows apps never show ads. On iPhone and iPad you can decline tracking when asked and still use the app — you will simply see non-personalized ads. What the ads collect is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Open the paywall and choose Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account, Google account, or Microsoft account you bought with. If it still does not unlock, email us the store receipt and we will sort it out.
Cancelling is handled by whoever took the payment:
You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are issued by the store that processed the payment, under its own policy.
History syncs per account, so sign in with the same account on both devices. Runs completed while signed out are recorded on that device only and are not backfilled after you sign in.
See Delete Your Account & Data for the in-app steps, the email fallback, and exactly what is deleted versus retained.
Tell us the steps that trigger it, what you expected, and what happened — plus the platform and app version. If a cleanup behaved unexpectedly, the section you were in and the figure it showed you help far more than the files themselves, which we don't want.
