These terms are the agreement between you and Soft Flourish (California, USA), for the SystemZen apps. Installing or using SystemZen means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use SystemZen on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to defeat the app's licensing, except to the extent your local law expressly permits it regardless of contract.
Scanning, the health score, and monitoring are free. Cleanup and the advanced tools are part of SystemZen Pro, with a limited free allowance so you can try them first. The free tier of the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob; Pro is ad-free, and the Mac and Windows apps show no ads at any tier. We may change what each tier includes for future releases, but not retroactively for a period you have already paid for.
If you buy Pro, the purchase is processed by the platform store you bought it from — Apple, Google, or Microsoft — under that store's terms, and we never see your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel through the same store, at least 24 hours before the renewal date, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are issued by that store under its own policy, not by us. Any free trial converts to a paid period unless cancelled before it ends.
SystemZen shows you what it proposes to remove, with sizes, and nothing is deleted without your confirmation. You are responsible for that confirmation. Deleting caches, duplicates, or large files is normally safe, but it is irreversible, and only you know which of your own files matter. Keep a current backup before any bulk cleanup. We are not liable for files you chose to delete.
An account is optional and exists to sync your maintenance history. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used to abuse the service or break these terms. You can delete your account at any time — see Delete Your Account & Data.
Do not use SystemZen to interfere with a device you do not control, to circumvent security or licensing on your system, or in any way that breaks applicable law or the rules of the store you installed it from. Do not attempt to disrupt our services or extract data from them beyond your own.
The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and describes what the app collects and what stays on your device.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features that depend on our servers — chiefly history sync — may be changed, limited, or discontinued with reasonable notice. Operating-system changes may affect what the app can measure or clean on a given platform.
To the fullest extent the law allows, SystemZen is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that every measurement is exact, or that any specific amount of space will be reclaimed.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to SystemZen is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.
You may stop using SystemZen and delete it at any time. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 4, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction — except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
The platform store you installed from is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for SystemZen. Where a store's own end-user licence terms conflict with these, that store's terms prevail for that platform, and its operators are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce them.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the app after a material change means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the app and delete your account.
