Why Flourish
Most PDF apps quietly send your file to a server to run OCR, conversion, or AI. Flourish PDF has no document upload endpoint at all — which makes it a genuine fit for legal, medical, financial and other sensitive documents.
The service has no route that accepts a document. Your file cannot be sent to us because there is nowhere to send it.
Apple Vision, Google ML Kit and Windows' own recognizer read the page on your hardware.
Summaries and questions run on Apple Intelligence, Google's on-device models or a Microsoft Phi model on your PC — no credits, no cloud fallback.

Pro ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) adds editing text that is already in the PDF, permanent redaction, permissions and watermarks, Bates numbering, batch tools, document comparison and the accessibility audit — and removes the OCR and LaTeX limits.
Yes, and it is not a trial. Free lets you read, search, print, highlight, draw, stamp, add text, sign, reorder, rotate and delete pages, password-protect a file, and run 5 OCR pages and 3 LaTeX builds a month. Every tool is visible from the first launch; a paid plan unlocks the ones marked Plus or Pro. On iPhone, iPad and Android the free version shows ads; on Mac and Windows it never does.
