The short version: Flourish PDF is licensed to you, not sold. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions you can cancel any time. Your documents stay on your device — which also means keeping your own backups is your responsibility.
These Terms govern your use of the Flourish PDF applications and this website, provided by Soft Flourish, operated by Fenul LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Flourish PDF on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the app's licensing or plan restrictions, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Flourish PDF offers a free tier and paid Plus and Pro plans. The free tier includes reading, annotation, signing, and a monthly allowance of on-device OCR pages; documents exported on the free tier carry a small “Created with Flourish PDF” footer. Paid plans unlock additional tools and higher or unlimited allowances, as described on the product page.
Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Depending on your platform, billing is handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), or our web checkout for Windows. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region.
Refunds are handled by the store that processed your payment, under its policy — Apple or Google for in-app purchases, or our payment provider for web purchases. If a refund is granted, the corresponding paid features stop being available.
You are responsible for the documents you process and must have the right to use them. Don't use Flourish PDF to infringe intellectual property, violate privacy or confidentiality obligations, remove security or access controls from documents you aren't authorised to modify, or break applicable law.
Because Flourish PDF works locally, we never hold a copy of your files — so we cannot recover them for you. Editing is powerful and some operations (for example redaction and flattening) are intentionally irreversible. Keep your own backups of anything important, and verify results before relying on them.
Some features depend on your device and operating system. On-device AI requires a device and OS version that supports it, and LaTeX compilation is available on the desktop apps. Where a feature isn't supported, the app will tell you plainly rather than substituting a cloud service.
Flourish PDF, its name, logo, and design are owned by us. These Terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You retain all rights to your own documents.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any output will be fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these Terms or the app. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in California will have jurisdiction — except where mandatory local consumer law grants you other rights.
