Yes, and it is not a trial. Free lets you read, search, print, highlight, draw, stamp, add text, sign, reorder, rotate and delete pages, password-protect a file, and run 5 OCR pages and 3 LaTeX builds a month. Every tool is visible from the first launch; a paid plan unlocks the ones marked Plus or Pro. On iPhone, iPad and Android the free version shows ads; on Mac and Windows it never does.
New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial on Plus or Pro. The App Store, Google Play or the web checkout shows the exact terms — the trial length, and the price that follows — before you confirm, and you can cancel before the trial ends.
Nowhere. Editing, OCR, scanning, conversion and the AI features all run on your own device, and the app has no document-upload endpoint at all. What our servers hold is your account, which plan it is on, and aggregate feature counters — never a file, its text, a page image or an AI prompt.
Not to use the free version. You sign in only to use a paid plan across devices. Sign in with Apple, Google or email; the same account unlocks Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows.
Yes. Buy Plus or Pro once — in the App Store, Google Play, or on the web — and it unlocks on every platform you sign in on with the same Flourish PDF account. Windows has no store in-app purchase: download the app free, subscribe on the web account page, then sign in.
Whoever took the payment cancels it: Apple Account subscriptions on Mac, iPhone and iPad; Google Play subscriptions on Android; the web account page for Windows and web purchases. You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are issued by the store that processed the payment, under its own policy.
Yes. Updates arrive through the App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store like any app update, at no extra charge, and a subscription unlocks the new tools as they ship.
The AI features run on your device's own AI — Apple Intelligence on Mac, iPhone and iPad, and Google's on-device models on supported Android phones — so there are no credits to buy or run out of, and nothing about your document is sent anywhere. If your device does not support on-device AI, the feature is unavailable rather than quietly falling back to a cloud service.
