Delete Your Flourish PDF Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data in Flourish PDF, published by Soft Flourish (operated by Fenul LLC). It applies to the macOS, Windows, iPhone, iPad, and Android apps.

Delete your account from inside the app — no request needed.

  1. Open Flourish PDF and sign in if you are not already.
  2. Go to Account (macOS: the app menu → Account…; Windows/iOS/Android: the Account tab).
  3. Choose Delete Account and confirm on the warning prompt.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete Flourish PDF account”. We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your Flourish PDF sign-in account itself (email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in).
  • Your email address and account identifier.
  • Your entitlement record and stored subscription record.
  • Your personal LaTeX source key — the AES-GCM key that decrypts any PDF whose LaTeX source you locked. Once it is destroyed with the account, those documents' embedded source becomes permanently unreadable; the visible PDF pages themselves are untouched, because they never left your device.

These are erased immediately — there is no soft-delete or recovery window, and they cannot be restored afterwards.

What is not deleted

Account deletion does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately — App Store Subscriptions, Play Store Subscriptions, or your account page for Windows — or you will keep being billed by the store that took the payment.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Purchase and subscription records — retained by Apple and Google under their own policies, and by us in de-identified form for up to 7 years where tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention law requires it. Not linked back to a deleted account for any other purpose.
  • Encrypted operational backups — deleted records may persist for up to 30 days before those backups roll off, after which they are gone.

Your documents are never included in any of this: Flourish PDF is 100% on-device, so your files, page images, and OCR/AI output never reach our servers in the first place. See the Privacy Policy.
